To ensure the smooth and efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems, while providing prompt technical support to guests and hotel operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Engineering team during the assigned shift.
- Monitor and maintain the proper operation of hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
- Respond promptly to guest room, public area, and operational maintenance requests.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other hotel systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, villas, public areas, plant rooms, and other facilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and take immediate corrective action to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Monitor critical equipment, utilities, and plant operations, including generators, pumps, air-conditioning systems, and other major equipment.
- Ensure all work orders, maintenance activities, and shift handovers are properly recorded and followed up.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety, fire and life safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
- Assist in monitoring energy consumption and identifying opportunities for energy conservation.
- Maintain proper control of engineering tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials.
- Guide, coach, and support Engineering team members to maintain high standards of performance.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Management.
