Deskripsi pekerjaan
- 24x7 network operations — Run daily operations: monitoring coverage, alarm routing, thresholds and dashboards for critical platforms, with every event acknowledged within the agreed response time. Enforce shift handover discipline.
- Service assurance & capacity — Monitor availability and performance against targets, and attribute impact to the company, customers or third parties with evidence. Forecast port, bandwidth, routing, switching, optical, address and firewall demand, and raise investment triggers to the Lead.
- Incident & problem management — Lead the day-to-day technical response: classify severity, restore service, preserve evidence, coordinate carriers and MSPs, and escalate P1/P2 incidents to the Lead immediately. Facilitate root cause analysis and track permanent corrective actions to closure with an effectiveness check.
- Change control — Review risk, ensure peer review of method-of-procedure, test and rollback plans, schedule and validate network changes with rollback evidence, and recommend approval or rejection to the Lead. Coordinate emergency changes only on the Lead's authorisation.
- Cross-connect delivery & cabling — Supervise the cabling engineers executing work orders from the Interconnection Specialist: lead time, workmanship, test evidence and readiness for handover to activation.
- Customer technical support & product input — Prepare technical feasibility assessments and draft service catalogue entries for the Lead's approval, support customers through design, activation, acceptance and SLA assurance, and provide incident and RCA input for service reviews.
- AI & automation in network operations — Identify manual and time-consuming network tasks, such as alarm triage, shift reports, ticket documentation, record reconciliation and weekly operations reporting, and work with the IT team to automate them or apply approved AI tools. Track the time saved.
- ERP contribution — Provide network-operations requirements, data definitions and user acceptance testing for the in-house ERP, so that circuit, port, change and incident data support cross-department workflows.
- Vendors, records & reporting — Monitor network vendor and MSP performance against SLA, challenge vendor data with own telemetry, and give OPEX/CAPEX input. Verify that network diagrams, IPAM, port and circuit records are updated after every activation, change and decommission, and issue the weekly network operations report with audit evidence.
- People — Maintain the 24x7 shift roster, on-call rotation and named backups so every shift meets the minimum competency level. Coach the specialist, engineers, technicians and interns, and track certifications.
