Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept creation to final production.
- Develop product strategies and seasonal product plans aligned with the brand's vision, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Fashion Designers to translate creative concepts into commercially viable products.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights to identify product opportunities.
- Define product specifications, materials, trims, construction details, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with Pattern Makers, Sample Team, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Review and approve prototypes, samples, and fittings to ensure product quality, fit, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
- Manage the product development timeline and ensure milestones are achieved according to the collection calendar.
- Analyze product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
- Ensure products meet target costing, margin requirements, and quality standards.
- Lead product review meetings and present product recommendations to management.
- Mentor and support junior team members in product development and technical execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, materials, and consumer behavior to enhance product competitiveness.
