About the Role

As a Product Senior Manager – Fraud Detection & Risk, you will own and drive the product roadmap for fraud detection and risk decisioning systems. You will work at the intersection of product, data, engineering, risk operations, payments, legal/compliance, and business teams to identify fraud patterns, translate risk strategies into scalable product solutions, and optimize fraud decisioning across the platform.
This role is ideal for a product leader who is highly analytical, structured, and comfortable balancing risk mitigation, user experience, business impact, and system scalability.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive the Fraud Detection & Risk product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and risk objectives.
- Identify fraud, abuse, and suspicious activity patterns using data, fraud trends, and operational insights.
- Translate fraud policies and risk strategies into product requirements, system logic, and decision flows.
- Design and optimize end-to-end fraud decisioning processes, including allow, challenge, review, and block flows.
- Define, track, and analyze fraud-related KPIs such as risk savings, false positives, and suspicious product detection.
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation for engineering teams.
- Lead feature delivery from discovery to launch, including experiments, testing, phased rollouts, and post-launch evaluation.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Risk Operations, Payments, Legal/Compliance, and Business stakeholders to ensure scalable and effective fraud systems.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data, or related field.
- Min. 6 years of proven experience as a Product Manager / Product Lead / Product Senior Manager, preferably in fraud, risk, trust & safety, payments, security, or platform products.
- Strong understanding of fraud detection, risk management, abuse prevention, or decisioning systems.
- Ability to translate complex policies, risk rules, and operational needs into scalable product requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining metrics, interpreting data, and making trade-off decisions.
- Experience working closely with Engineering teams on technical product delivery and system performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including communicating decisions, trade-offs, and performance to leadership.
- Basic SQL capability to extract data, validate hypotheses, and support product analysis is a strong advantage.
