Role Summary
The Senior Venture Builder is a hands-on execution lead responsible for turning venture concepts into fully operational businesses. The role takes ownership of building ventures from the ground up, driving portfolio companies toward early commercial milestones, and independently managing multiple projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Venture Planning and Execution. Translate venture strategies into clear action plans, priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Lead execution across assigned ventures, monitor progress, follow up on outstanding actions, and ensure that key milestones are delivered on time.
- New Venture Development. Build new ventures from concept to operational readiness, including setting up the operating model, team structure, commercial arrangements, workflows, and other foundations required to launch and run the business.
- Commercial Development and Market Activation. Lead the early commercial development of assigned ventures, including go-to-market activation, customer acquisition, partnership development, and the pursuit of initial revenue opportunities.
- Operational Problem-Solving and Delivery Management. Identify potential blockers early and take proactive steps to resolve them. Maintain momentum across multiple ventures by managing dependencies, coordinating relevant stakeholders, and ensuring that issues are followed through to completion.
- Systems, Processes, and Performance Reporting. Establish practical operational systems, workflows, performance trackers, and reporting structures that support effective execution and prepare ventures for future growth.
- External Stakeholder Management. Represent Lestari professionally in engagements with investors, corporate partners, government institutions, and other external stakeholders. Build trust, communicate venture priorities clearly, and ensure consistent follow-up on agreed actions and opportunities.
