Deskripsi pekerjaan
We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist Network with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing medium-to-large-scale network infrastructure. This is a senior individual contributor role: the focus is on deep network technical execution, operational reliability, and security, while also serving as a technical reference and mentor for more junior team members.
You will be responsible for ensuring network connectivity is optimal, secure, and aligned with business and compliance requirements, for both internal and external connections across multiple office sites.
About The Job
- Design, implement, and maintain brand agnostic network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and VPN gateways to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
- Run daily office network operations: network device administration & configuration, monitoring, incident management, and documentation.
- Own the technical responsibility for network components and configurations, ensuring the reliability and security of both internal and external connections.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols, switching, wireless networking, and QoS management.
- Collaborate with the security team to enforce network security measures (e.g., IDS/IPS, RADIUS/802.1X, network segmentation) and support audits relevant to the network scope.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on network incidents and produce technical reports with follow-up recommendations.
- Proactively propose network design improvements to support business growth and performance.
- Support the development and maintenance of the network monitoring and performance reporting platform.
- Serve as a technical reference and mentor for more junior team members within the network domain.
- Collaborate with peering teams (Application, Identity, Operations) to align technical initiatives.
About you
- Bachelor's (S1) or Master's (S2) degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or another science major.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing medium to large scale office networks, preferably involving multiple sites/locations.
- Deep mastery of the common network stack, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching (VLAN, STP, link aggregation), wireless networking, and QoS management, as well as network monitoring tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow).
- Experience configuring firewalls and implementing other network security measures (e.g., firewall policies, IPsec/SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, RADIUS/802.1X).
- Hands-on experience (configuration & operations) with Cisco, UniFi, and Fortigate devices covering both firewalls and network equipment (switches, access points, routers) from these vendors.
- Ability to work independently and translate technical requirements into detailed implementation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and report-writing skills, including Cost-Benefit Analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
- Effective communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia, including with audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel (preferably within Southeast Asia) to support the infrastructure development of regional office sites.
- Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, in both project and day-to-day operational contexts.
- Able to communicate and explain technical matters in non-technical language to non-technical users/stakeholders.
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships and communication with vendors to ensure project success.
