Job Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and utility operators.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery, building infrastructure, and utility systems (e.g., electrical, water, HVAC, steam).
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and ensure the availability of critical components.
- Monitor and analyze utility consumption, identify areas for improvement, and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the maintenance team.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and report on maintenance performance metrics.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals and new projects.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and utility supervision, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment (food processing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and boiler operations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
